Happy Spring! It is hard to believe that it is already April 1st. With school officially ending on June 18th, staff at S.H.M.S. are busy preparing students to transition to the next grade. As we begin quarter four, it is essential that students return all library books and search for any missing textbooks or school assigned materials. As end of the year activities are being planned, it is essential that students begin to turn in any outstanding obligations including lunch charges, library books, and missing or damaged textbooks.
Once again we will be offering summer academies at Snow Hill Middle School. Summer Academies will begin June 24th and end on July 18(Closed July 3). Mrs. Chisholm has planned many exciting opportunities related to S.T.E.M. Please look for registration materials in your child’s bookbag.
Finally, Worcester County Public Schools has once again asked for your input regarding school and county communications. The WCPS Communication Survey was sent home in your child’s bookbag a week ago. This online survey is accessible with the code that was included on the bottom of the invitation. If you would like assistance completing the survey online or would like to complete it on one of our school computers, please feel free to stop by at anytime and we will make a staff member available to help you.
This year is flying by….we have a lot of fun activities planned as we conclude our year including Jolly Rogers, curriculum-based field trips, and Grade 8 recognition. Please remind your child to follow our school expectations so they can participate in all of the fun activities we have planned for the end of the school year.
