Tammy Funk is one of the School Counselors at Snow Hill Middle School. Mrs. Funk graduated from Snow Hill High School and then went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. She began teaching at Snow Hill Middle School in 2008 as a 5th grade teacher and later as a 6th grade mathematics teacher. During this time, she received her Master’s degree in school counseling from Wilmington University and is excited to now be one of the School Counselors at SHMS.

Carlton Cartwright : Guidance Counselor

Carlton Cartwright

Guidance Counselor

Born and raised in Sussex County, Delaware, Carlton Cartwright graduated in 1993 from Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware. In 1997, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from then Salisbury State University with a minor in Spanish. He received a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Wilmington University in 2009. Before coming to Snow Hill Middle in 2014, Mr. Cartwright taught 6th and 7th grade language arts for 16 years in Pocomoke where he currently lives with his beautiful wife and children.
