4th Grade Teacher
Barbara Kohut worked at Stephen Decatur Middle School in Berlin for 14 years teaching Integrated Language Arts. She is certified in Elementary Education, English, Administration, Curriculum Planning and testing coordination.
She received both her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and her Masters of Arts in English from Salisbury University. She also received a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Walden University. As you can see, she loves learning new things and considers herself a life-long learner!
She and her husband moved here in 1998 from New Jersey and Pennsylvania where they lived all of their lives prior to moving to the beach! They presently live in the northern end of Worcester County with their two sons, Kole and Lucas. In her spare time, she plays league softball and dodgeball. As a family, they spend warm days soaking up the sun, and watching their boys play baseball, soccer, become better surfers and swimmers each day. She and her husband spend the cold months watching their boys wrestle, play indoor soccer, and snowboard. As you can see, they rarely sit still! They live each day to its fullest savoring all of the memories they have made together and consider themselves extremely blessed.
